Q. At what age should I spay or neuter my dog/cat?
A. We suggest that animals be payed or neutered between 4 and 6 months of age. This helps eliminate unwanted behavior from the beginning and greatly reduces the chance of cancer. It also helps prevent unwanted puppies or kittens adding to the animal population problem.

Q. Heart worm prevention medicine seems expensive, does my pet really need it?
A. YES! Heartworms are transmitted from animal to animal through the bite of a mosquito. There is no easy way to keep your animal from being bitten even if it spends most of the time indoors. Heartworms are deadly if not treated. The treatment is much more expensive than the prevention. Treatment also can be potentially life threatening to the animal as itself.
